TOPIC : Breath Testing for Detection of Head and Neck Cancer
Dr Nuwan Dharmawardana is a trainee of Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, training towards a fellowship in Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery.
He is an active member of Otorhinolaryngology research for the past decade with experience in cochlear purinergic signalling pathways, validation of virtual-reality sinus simulators, minimally invasive biomarkers for head and neck cancer, and formal training in systematic review methods.
He was awarded the Garnett Passe and Rodney Williams Memorial Foundation – Academic Surgeon-Scientist Research Scholarship to obtain a PhD in Otorhinolaryngology.
