OHNNG offers educational sponsorships to all financial members, and members are strongly encouraged to apply. Educational sponsorships are awarded at the discretion of the Executive Committee to support ORL and Head & Neck (HN) education and professional development.

Funding may be provided toward approved educational activities, courses, including attendance at national or international conferences, upon receipt of proof of expenses incurred.

Eligibility

• Applicants must be current financial members and have held continuous membership for a minimum of 24 months.
• Applications may be made once every three (3) years for national or international conference sponsorship.
• Sponsorship to attend the OHNNG National Meeting may be applied for once every two (2) years.

Funding Amounts

• Up to $1,500 for local or national meetings
• Up to $3,000 for international meetings

Application Requirements

Applicants must submit a proposal prior to the educational activity, including:

• Details of the educational endeavour
• Costing and expenses
• Length of course or event
• Location where the education will be undertaken
• A short covering letter outlining requested support

Successful Applicant Obligations

Successful applicants must:

• Submit a written report (minimum 500 words) relevant to OHNNG practice or
• Agree to publication of the report in the OHNNG E-Link and/or
• Present verbally at the next OHNNG National Conference or display a poster, as determined by the Executive Committee
• Failure to meet the educational sponsorship conditions may result in repayment of all funds received.
